**** UPDATE: We have selected the 10 Gather members to review We Can All Do Better, and we've emailed everyone who contacted us to express interest. Thank you everyone who responded! ****
You probably remember Bill Bradley for a number of different reasons. He represented New Jersey for three terms as a United States Senator. He was Al Gore’s main competition in the 2000 race for the Democratic nomination for President. And all of that followed a Rhodes Scholarship, a successful career as a pro basketball player for the New York Knicks, and winning gold for the USA in the 1964 Olympic Games!
Senator Bradley is also the author of several books. His latest work, We Can All Do Better, is described as a “no-holds-barred prescription on subjects including job creation, deficit reduction, education, and immigration†and many other areas in which most of us agree the U.S. should be – and indeed can be – doing better.

Now this is where you come in! We are looking for 10 solid writers to read We Can All Do Better and post a review on Gather. All members selected to write a review will receive either a hard copy or digital copy of the book (your choice!), as well as a $20 Starbucks gift card so you can enjoy your favorite coffee while you read. Whether you’re liberal, conservative, independent, or even if you don’t consider yourself “political,†we’d like to hear what you think of Senator Bradley’s latest tome of ideas.
All reviewers will be selected by Wednesday, June 20th, and all reviews shall be posted no later than July 10th. All reviewers will be invited to take part in a subsequent community discussion on Gather about how “we can all do better†– as individuals and as a nation. Finally, one reviewer will be chosen to host a live chat with the Senator in July (date TBD).
If you are interested in reviewing We Can All Do Better, please send me a private message and include your preferred contact email address.

I alway research the candidates before I go to the polls. I email the voted in officials when there is a bill that is up for vote too. I have not missed an election since I turned 18.
Good Luck to all who enter!
Sorry for not seeing this until I received the email from Chuck.
I'd like to review this book, sending a mail now - thanks gather!
I did a search to see what I could come up with and found so much information. I really do think this will be a great book. The chat should be lively, with lots of debate.
